The government in Jerusalem is basically under the Sultan's control. What he says goes. We don't mind being under the Ottoman rule. They didn't really change the government system. We feel the Ottoman government is more about conquering lands and gathering fortunes rather than changing ideas and converting the people. Ottomans see the world divided into two realms, one of war against its unholy enemies, and one of peace where all races and religions coexist.
