We have been studying the history of Iran, and there are many aspects of Iran's society, today, that have been influenced by the past. Iran is a country that many westerners do not know much about. Through this website many different facets of Iran will be explained. The Safavid Empire has left its mark on every aspect of Iranian culture, from the strict, traditional, and cultural beliefs it instilled, to the same economic base they have used for centuries, and the strong ruled hand of a firm but kind ruler has always been present in Iran. There is a lot to learn about this culture and the effect its history had on how it is today. It is now time to enter the diverse and exciting culture that is Iran.
