When dealing with the political, economical, and social differences from present day China and back when the Qing dynasty was established in 1644, it's evident to see the major political, economical, and social changes that have occurred over the past 456 years. To be able to see these changes we must view the past on how prosperity in the past has paved the way for the success in the future.

In terms of China's economy, China has one of the largest economies in the world. Even though seventy percent of China's population is farmers, China has one of the fastest growing technological economies to date. In the 16th century, the Qing dynasty economic system depended on its natural recourses, just as it's evident in present day China that agriculture is still the stepping-stone for China's growing economy. Similar to the past, China's government, just like in many cultures, play a major role in its economically decisions.

There have been many changes in the Chinese culture over the past several hundred years, but it's easy to see that some things can never change. One of those things that seem will never change is family life. In the 16th century, women were subordinate to men, in every level of society. And when the head male figure in the family dies, all of his positions are handed down to his oldest son. This meant all women of his family now must do what he says. But in present day China, many options are giving to women to live life the way they seem fit.

As for many things in China that have changed, the way China's government and political system is beginning ran, has taken a drastic turn around, from what is was to what it is now. China is currently operating under a communist government, which has been divided into four branches of "officials". The National People's Congress (NPC), the State Council, and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). Now, the people of China has a government of officials in which the elect to represent them. In the 16th century until its end in 1912, the Qing dynasty was being rule strictly under the rule of an emperor who was born his position rather than elected.
