Second Industrial Revolution
What a time to be alive, the world is advancing and becoming more technological, but
mostimportantly the United States is becoming a much more powerful country. We are
talking about steel,vehicles, railroads, electricity, and knowledge. All of which our great
country is acquiring and developing in in order to make us a bigger threat to others. With the
steel that we are obtaining we are able to create railroads to help transport goods from place
to place and with the other advancements that
we have made we are able to take control.
This great change that our country is
going through is for the better. It is able
to help everyone form people working in
factories to people working on farms out
in the middle of no where who need to
make more money .People working out on the farms won't have to do all of the manual labor
that is needed because there are machines being built to help out those in need. “Cast and
wrought iron, steel, and brass gradually replaced wood in the construction of lathes; this
gave them greater strenght and stability.”
These machines are built from steel which the US used a lot of. “Steel production
throughout the world in millions of tons,is USA 23.6 tons.”In the factories as well, there
are hard jobs that no one wants to do so why not let the machines take care of it. These
advances are really helping out to speed up the production of the materials being made, not
only that but the roads being made now are able to guide the way to their final destination.
Alot of good things are happening at this time, machines are being made and i
n order to
power them electricity is being made
easier to control. With the ability to
control the electricity we are able to
create better functioning and more
efficient machines that wile help
out the Economy. With the ability to
control electricity we are also able to create vehicles
that depend solely on that.Not only can we make vehicles but also start to warm everyone
with the help from an electric fire. " An electric fire,Dowsing's patent for using incandescent
lamps is put on the market."What a momentous occasion we are witnessing.
As well as creating new machines our society is becoming better educated and is able to
develop even more advance
ments that help out this great land.With our people gaining more
knowledge they are able to do scientific research
which I know that later on will make better
and well developed machinery also the
knowledge we are gaining now will someday help
to cure diseases. This time, The Industrial
Revolution, is a great time that is helping out
anyone who is willing to accept it for the tremendous opportunity it is to be ahead of the
competition.
The industrial revolution is the time where we now take a stand and show everyone what
we are made of. To all of our competition out there we are more powerful than ever, and to
everyone who are reading this, its a great time to be alive and be proud of the country that
you live in for what they have accomplished recently as well as what we will do to
everyone else.
