Are you a scholarship athlete?

-Yes

In your mind, has Title IX positively or negatively affected college athletics?

-I think Title IX has its advantages and disadvantages obviously. It encourages and incorporates more participation among female athletes. but it really stings men sports besides football.

Has Title IX affected you or anyone on your team in any negative way?

-Yes

What were the specifics of that situation?

-I know that a full scholarship in soccer is a rarity. The NCAA only allows 9.9 scholarships per soccer team, and most teams don't even have that much. 9.9 scholarships for 22 players is not enough.

Would you like to see any changes made to Title IX?

-Yes, because of Title IX. a few starters won't even be on scholarship and some football players who never see a minute of playing time receive a full ride. It doesn't make too much sense.

In your opinion, is Title IX discriminatory towards either men or women?

-It affects both.
