-This is an internet article. It is about the vigourous training of the special forces division of the U.S Army. It discusses the type of training, some possible missions, and comparisons between the Navy SEALS and the Army Green Berets.

-This is a Dictionary for different terms of and used by the United States various Special Forces organizations. It includes information and pictures about weapons, phrases, training, excersizes, and other random things that relate to the Special Forces.

 

-Mantell, David Mark. True Americanism: The Green Berets and War Resistes; a Study of Commitment. New York : Teachers College Press.

-This is a book about The Green Berets and the patriotic aspect. It is about the mental obstacles that need to be overcome to be a part of the Green Berets. It is primarily focused on the purposes and types of missions excersized by the Green Berets.

 

 

-Stanton Shelby L., Green Berets at War: U.S Army Special Forces in S. East Asia, 1956-1975.

-This is a book that covers the missions done by the Green Berets in the Vietnam War. It is about how they were used to train North Vietnamese troops that were fighting the South Vietnamese. It was insightful about the type of training the Green Berets offered to the North Vietnamese military, and how it helped both our and their causes.

 

 

-Video presentation by Discovery Channel. "On the Inside" series. The "The U.S Army Special Forces: Green Berets."

-This was a video I watched on Discovery Channel a couple of months ago. I decided to order it, and it has not arrived yet. However, I remember the jist of the film. It was about the tough training they go through to receive their infamous beret. Throughout their training they must deal with some typical scenarios that they will potentially face in the field. Towards the latter half of the film it shows actual Green Berets in other countries training soldiers.

-This internet site is a webpage that was established by a former Green Beret and Vietnam War veteran. His webpage included many pictures of the training camps that were set up in Vietnam in order to train the South Vietnamese.

-This website provided many examples of missions that the Green Berets are trained for. It also had an extensive historical section which assisted me with the knowledge of how the Green Berets came about.
