Uses of Zinc
The zinc will probably initially be used simply for galvanizing iron and steel products, which simply requires melting the zinc and dipping the product in the molten zinc. It will also be used in sheet-metal form once we have the capability to roll sheet metal. The other major use of zinc will be in alloy with copper to form brass, which is a shiny gold material (at about 15% zinc) that is corrosion resistant and useful for a variety of purposes.
