As we will be crash landing on Arda one of the first things we will need to build is a forge. In the early statges of the colony we will primarily focus on more common metals as tin is found in relatively small quantities as compared to copper and zinc. Once we have sufficient tools and labor, we can begin to dredge nearby streams for cassiterite. As the quantities of tin obtained by this method will be meeger, we will probably use tin to form alloys. As our technology progresses we will be able to use more adavanced methods of mining. Also we will be able to dig for deposits.
