We had two days in Luz-St. Saveur, a quaint little town at the base of the Col du Tourmalet. Our first "rest" day wasn't - nearly everyone opted to climb the infamous Luz Ardiden. It was a tough climb - very steep for a long time! On our second day, a group of us opted to take Dick up on his offer of a van ride to Lourdes.
