Day 10: Luchon to St. Girons: Col du Portillon, Col de Mente, Col de Portet d'Aspet
Today our luck changed - we awoke both to rainy skies and the realization that we had a huge day ahead of us. Three cols - the first was relatively short, second one quite challenging, and third a very steep short climb. We rode into Spain for about 10 miles today as well, on a busy road between Col du Portillon and Col de Mente. It was quite a day; most of the group made the whole ride despite the rain but some of us were picked up by the van before the last climb, cold wet and hungry.
