CERES
The Asteroid
One of the largest asteroids in our solar system is Ceres, with a diameter of about 1030 km (about 640 mi) A The total mass of all asteroids in the solar system is much less than the mass of the Moon. The larger bodies are roughly spherical, but elongated and irregular shapes are common for those with diameters of less than 160 km (less than 100 mi). Most asteroids, regardless of size, rotate on their axes every 5 to 20 hours. Certain asteroids may be binary, or have satellites of their own. Ceres is a wonderful asteroid that holds only one hotel on its surface. Ceres is ten to the sixth Km from our sun. The journey to Ceres is not too long. The time to get there depends on how far Ceres is in orbit. The trip is enjoyable because the ship is adorned with many activities that ocurr daily. You are surely able to find something different to do everyday on your journey to Ceres.
WEATHER
The Asteroid is realitvely warm. Located in the asteroid belt bewteen the Sun and Mars, Ceres is a very exciting and interesting place to visit. The weather is cool and requires warm clothes, but compared to other places in the solar system its weather is more mild. The beautiful grey rocky surface is amazing to peer at from behind your space suit.
What equipment and clothing will be needed to explore this asteroid?
Spacesuits are provided but it is important to realize that this asteroid has very rocky terrain. Special type shoes are very necessary to ensure that feet are protected and safe from the rough terrain. The rocks are beatufil and minerals look nothing like anything located on the earth's surface.

SPORTS
The rough terrain has been smoothed out and currently bowling alleys are being set up. Bowling in space, what a unique and exciting activity! New bowling balls that can easily roll and stay on the planets surface have been invented. Meaning, no more searching in space for lost balls!
As well, since Ceres is located in the asteroid belt, there is a new activity called asteroid jumping. It's an extreme sport held about 2 minutes from Ceres, but Ceres is the only place you can stay in order to compete in this rare and evigorating challenge.
ACCOMODATIONS
The Rocky hotel is a five start hotel that is nesteled in between two craters on the asteroid ceres. The hotel is equipped with 10 different pools to swim in if you choose, or maybe you find that dining at the five star resturant is more to your liking. Whatever your preference, the staffs great hospitality will match your needs. The hotel is heated by a self propelled energy device that is exciting to learn about and see when you travel to Ceres.
For some reason, if you are unable to visit this asteroid in your journey discovering our solar system there are other asteroids to visit such as Gaspra, but Rocky is the only hotel located in the asteroid belt. Which, is further reason to visit, there truely is no place like it in the entire solar system.
