The Veggiemight club has many goals, the main one being to educate others and ourselves about alternative energy and how we can use it. Firstly, our goal was to procure a car from donation, a diesel burning Mercedes if possible. Once we got the car, our next goal was to raise enough money to purchase a conversion kit and put it onto the car, making it run on strictly vegetable oil. We are getting the vegetable oil through donation from our school cafeteria and some local restaurants. In the process of doing these things, we hope to educate others and ourselves about alternative energy and how it is possible to make a difference, because if we can convert a car, anyone can. We want to show by converting a car that it is possible for you as an individual to make a difference. At the end of this whole project, we hope that we inspired and educated some people, and have a car that runs on strictly vegetable oil.
