Structure
The cytoplasm is a jelly like material that is made up of mostly water. It is what fills the cell. The cytoplasm is a jelly-like material that is mostly ofwater and is most of the time clear in color. It is more like a gel then a watery substance, but it liquefies when it is shaken or stirred. The cytoplasm is cytosol and organelles except the nucleus. The cytosol is made up of water, salts and organic molecules and many enzymes that catalyze reactions. The cytoplasm is very important because it is the substance of life because it serves as a molecular soup where all the cell's organelles are suspended and held together by a fatty membrane. It is found within the plasma membrane of a cell and surrounds the nuclear envelope and the cytoplasmic organelles. It is inside the cell membrane and outside of the cell nucleus. The cytoplasm contains the organelles and lets it circlulates and fuction well. What separates the cytoplasm from the watery environment that the cell is in is the plasma membrane.

Function
It contains proteins, molecules and important substances that the cell needs. The fluid part of the cytoplasm is made up of protiens, lipids, carbohydrates, salts, sugars, amino acids and nucleotides. The cytoplasm contains dissolved nutrients and helps dissolve waste products. The cytoplasm helps materials move around the cell by moving and churning through cytoplasm streaming. The cytoplasm works with the nucleus by takeing the waste that the nucleus by sinthesising DNA. The jelly material is inside the cell membrane and also outside the cell nucleus.
